Teens, community groups perform at Boulder Creek Festival
The Creek Festival, Boulder's unofficial kickoff to summer held in downtown Boulder for the 24th year, is known for its entertainment. Both well-known groups — Face, the Hazel Miller Band and Chris Daniels and The Kings — and lesser known local bands played the Bandshell's main stage this year. But the festival, which continues Monday, also provides space to teen bands, children's performance groups and community groups.

A year later, young Bolder Boulder runner makes full recovery
Brian Yoon was an apparently healthy 13-year-old, running his second Bolder Boulder, when he collapsed at the finish line in Folsom Field last year. He takes a baby aspirin every day but is otherwise healthy and cleared for all physical activity.
