Kindergarten Registration Information

The St. Vrain Valley School District recently announced that parents of 5-year olds can begin registering their children for kindergarten.  See the SVVSD website for details on enrollment.

THE KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP usually begins the first two full weeks in April each year.

Things to do outside of Longmont:

WOW Children's Play Museum -  This place is in Lafayette. It is a fun and educational place for your children. There are areas set up such as a music area, house area, computer area, tap dancing area, and much more! It is worth an afternoon trip with your kids.

Ocean Journey -  (303) 561-4450. This is an excellent afternoon trip to the aquarium. You can see all kinds of ocean life as well as tigers, birds and many other animals. You can stand right over swimming sharks and also watch them swim over head!

Six Flags Elitch Gardens Fun and Water Park - (303) 595-4386 - A great day trip. Roller coasters, and rides galore for adults and kids. They also now have a fairly new water park area to go with the fun park rides. You can work up a sweat and then go cool off!

Denver Museum - Wonderful dinosaur museum as well as many other areas of interest. Also has an IMAX theater
